‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’ deal
I love video games, and one of the video games I’ve been looking forward to the most this year is without a doubt ’Batman: Arkham Asylum’, which comes out next week (Tues 8/25/09). Something I also love is video game deals and in-store incentives, which is why I’m a loyal reader of Cheapassgamer.
It’s been revealed on their forums that Toys R Us will be giving away a $20 gift card with ’Batman: Arkham Asylum’ (360/PS3). On the morning of that Tuesday from 10AM-2PM, Toys R Us will be giving away a $30 gift card to Rewards R Us members. Now that’s one hell of a deal!
Signing up to be a Rewards R Us member is super easy, but more importantly it’s free. It’s like the Best Buy Rewardzone membership. A $30 gift card giveaway with a game I was already planning on purchasing is a fantastic deal. I think I’ll use that gift card to pick up the new’ Professor Layton & The Diabolical Box’ game that also comes out that same day.
In conclusion, if you were already planning on picking up ’Batman: Arkham Asylum’ for PS3 or 360, you might want to take advantage of this deal.
